(World's Fair/Disneyland, 1965) A doll based on South America section of the It's a Small World attraction. This doll was created by Pressman-Lipson Co. and was part of the Pen Pal series, which was meant to encourage children to write letters to other children around the world. These dolls were primarily sold at the Pepsi Pavilion at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair but were also sold later at the Disneyana Store in Disneyland. Measuring approximately 8" tall, the hand-painted doll is in very good condition with some residue on the doll's chest and back which is partially visible at the collar of her dress. There is some minor fraying to her hat, and the elastic elements no longer stretch.
