(Disneyland, 1989) An incredibly rare large blueprint of WestCOT from the estate of Imagineer Jim Michaelson. Planned as the Disneyland counterpart to Epcot Center at Walt Disney World, WestCOT was an ambitious Disneyland expansion project with a utopian future theme. Due to budget constraints, the project was canceled in favor of the California Adventure expansion of 2001. This rare blueprint provides an in depth look into the early attractions, lands, and areas for WestCOT, and is composed of three large blueprint sections which form the complete overhead map. This blueprint is an incredible artifact of Disneyland history that was created two years before the official announcement of WestCOT, and measures just over 8ftx7ft when assembled. The condition is very good overall with minor surface and edge wear from use, including some yellowing near the edges.
