(Epcot, 1966) An incredibly rare WED file copy of the final script for Walt Disney's informational film about Walt Disney World and Epcot. This copy is marked as "Marty's Copy" on the cover and belonged to Imagineer and Disney Legend Marty Sklar, who made notes on several pages regarding camera shots. The script includes Walt's introduction to Disney World and the surrounding property, including the plans for an "airport of the future" and massive welcome complex. The script then introduces Walt's original vision for E.P.C.O.T. as the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, and details the plans for this planned community. This script provides a wealth of information on Walt's original idea for Epcot, which would change greatly following his death. The script includes two different endings, one for Florida and the other for industry professionals. This copy matches the final version of the film almost word-for-word, but still includes visible edits and tweaks which offer insight into earlier versions of the script. Offering fantastic insight into the early vision of Epcot, the script measures 11.5"x9.25" and is in good condition. There is some edge-wear and discoloration to the cover from age and use, as well as some residue to the surface.
