(Walt Disney Productions, 1950s) Arguably the most coveted award that Disney could bestow, the Mousecar is a prestigious in-house award given to those who have performed exceptional service to Walt Disney Productions. Beginning in 1947, Walt Disney gave the first Mousecar to his brother Roy Disney, and since then, recipients have included Louis Armstrong, Bernie Cobb, Marc Davis, The Sherman Brothers, and more. This Mousecar was awarded to Winnie Grosso, and reads, "With thanks and appreciation - Mickey, Donald, and all your friends at Disney". The bronze-colored Mickey Mouse is accomplished in metal over a wooden base, and measures 5" in diameter and 9" high. In good condition with a small 0.25" chip in the back of Mickey's left ear, and minor wear to the wooden base. The felt on the bottom is mostly removed.
