(Disneyland, 1955) An incredible souvenir program from the short-lived Mickey Mouse Club Circus attraction at Disneyland. The program features an amazing collection of (42) signatures from the Mouseketeers and performers in the Circus, as well as Walt Disney himself. This program belonged to Don Heaston, a tuba player in both the Disneyland marching band, and the Mickey Mouse Club Band. During his time at the park, Heaston had the performers sign next to their photos in the program. These signatures include Bob Amsberry, known as Bob-O the Clown, who signed his picture on the front cover, as well as interior signatures by Walt Disney, and the Mouseketeer leaders Jimmie Dodd and Roy Williams. It is also signed by every Mouseketeer listed in the program, which includes Sharon Baird, Mike Smith, Doreen Tracey, Dennis Day, Billie Jean Beanblossom, Darlene Gillespie, Cubby O'Brien, Johnny Crawford, Nancy Abbate, Don Underhill, Bronson Scott, Bobby Burgess, Karen Pendleton, Lonnie Burr, Judy Harriet, Lee Johann, Mary Espinose, Ronnie Steiner, Tommy Cole, Bonnie Kern, Dickie Dodd, Annette Funicello, Mark Sutherland, and Mary Sartori. Additionally, the program highlights the acts and performers for other aspects of the circus, and is signed by acrobat Ted DeWayne, wild animal tamer George Keller, the world's most famous performing horse Serenada, animal trainer Johhny H., and circus clowns Dick David, Ginko, and Jack Landers the midget clown. Although not part of the circus itself, the program also promotes the Golden Horseshoe Revue and is signed by the performers Don Novis, Sluefoot Sue Judy Marsh, Wally Boag, and the four dance hall girls. This program features some of the rarest Disneyland signatures imaginable, and is a breathtaking artifact representing the beginning years of the park. The 14-page program measures 12"x9" and is in fair condition with some fold wear and page separation from the spine, however the book is complete and presents very well. This is an incredibly rare item, and the only such item we have ever seen that is so complete with signatures.
