(Disneyland, 1970) A very rare inter-office communication from Dick Irvine and Mel Melton to Donn Tatum, Disney's President from 1968-72. This 3-page document lists 23 individuals working for WED Enterprises along with their pay rates, and states the recommended pay increases for 9 of those individuals. In addition to the recommended increase amount, the sheets list the date of and amount of the Imagineer's last pay increase. This inter-office communication was composed on June 13, 1970, and comes at a unique time in WED's history and the construction of Walt Disney World. The document recommends raises "based on merit, production, and increased responsibility", and the individuals selected were instrumental in the development of Disney's new park. The lists includes Imagineers such as Roger Broggie, Rolly Crump, Blaine Gibson, John Hench, and many more. Measuring 11"x8.5", the document is in very good condition with some fold creasing from use.
