(Disney, 1964) A travel bag and postcards given to early passengers of the Disney Company plane. In 1963, Walt Disney used a demonstration Gulfstream aircraft to scout potential locations for a second Disney theme park. The company acquired its own Gulfstream plane in 1964, and Walt and Lillian Disney both had a hand in the interior design, with the cabin seating 15 passengers in deluxe comfort. Early passengers were lucky to receive this themed travel bag featuring A Walt Disney Productions logo depicting Mickey on the tail of the plane, and a pair of postcards showcasing the plane’s interior and exterior. Measuring 5” x 12” x 16” tall, the vinyl and nylon travel bag is in very good condition with light wear from age and handling, including small scuffs, and a .5” cut in the surface low on one side. The postcards measuring 3.5” x 5.5” are in very good condition with light edge and corner wear.
