(Disneyland, 1954) A sheet of Tomorrowland show element suggestions created by Herbert Ryman for WED Enterprises and Disneyland, Inc. As Disneyland continued to take form, many suggestions ended up in the wastebasket or on the floor, by Herb's account. Attesting to this is this second aggregation of "voided" suggestions featuring a "Kaleidoscope Projector" of a potential "G.E. Show," a "spiral pylon" and ribbed awnings for the Rocket "Space Port," and details mentioning a "scaled-down monorail" five years before the Disneyland-ALWEG Monorail debuted at Disneyland. Measuring 28.5"x12.5", the drawing mounted to artist's board displays in very good condition, exhibiting creases and wear throughout from use, and some color toning and discoloration common to Disneyland artifacts of a similar vintage.
