(Disneyland, 1954) A large sheet of Tomorrowland show element concepts created by Imagineer Herb Ryman. Throughout this sheet of original drawings, Ryman developed ideas for Tomorrowland including a magnet section of an electrical exhibit, a planetarium exhibition, a "micro cosmos vs. macro cosmos" exhibit, and of particular note, the large 50ft Tomorrowland Rocket. While some of the concepts were marked "void" as for their installation, it was Ryman's drawings like these that not only helped shape what Tomorrowland would become, but helped in the development of Disneyland as a whole. Measuring 31” x 12.5”, the drawing is mounted to artist’s board and displays in good condition. There are creases and wear throughout from use, and some color toning and discoloration.
