(Universal, 1966) An instantly recognizable original screen-used title from the opening credit sequence of “Munster, Go Home!” Accomplished in acrylic textured to look like oozing blood on a glass pane, the title credits Al Lewis (Grandpa Munster), Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster), and Debbie Watson (Marilyn Munster). Filmed directly after the run of the popular TV series, Watson replaced Pat Priest as Marilyn, Lily Munster's anomalously normal niece. The piece was created by Pacific Title in the same manner as the credits for the black-and-white television show. Because the film was shot in color, an in-camera effect was used to turn the lettering red. Matted with a copy background of 1313 Mockingbird Lane, the title measures 16" x 22" visible through a 21.75" x 28.25" frame and is in very good condition with a few instances of chipping and a light scuff to the frame. This item requires special shipping arrangements, and white glove delivery is suggested. Please inquire before bidding.
