(T.A.P. Inc., 1950) A 14-page storyboard pitch book for “The Comic Strips of Television,” with the earliest known images of Rocky and Bullwinkle. This book outlines three series proposals including “Frostbite Falls Review,” about forest animals producing their own television program. The other two series, "Samson of Stillwater Creek" and "The Adventures of Duffy Dobbs," include characters who present as early versions of Dudley Do-Right and Bullwinkle's foil, Natasha. Though none of the shows were picked up, Ward revisited Frostbite Falls eight years later, selecting Rocky and Bullwinkle to star in his new pilot. Measuring 10” x 11.5”, the spiral bound book is in good condition with edge wear, creases, dulled corners, and the upper half of the binding has broken off and is not included.
