The Edge’s concert-played The Edge Signature Fender Stratocaster. Built to the guitar legend’s personal specifications, The Edge Signature Strat consists of an alder body with a one-piece quartersawn maple fingerboard.

Equipped with a custom DiMarzio bridge pickup, Fender Custom Stagger Fat 50 middle and neck pickups, a two-point deluxe synchronized tremolo bridge with pop-in arm (included), and a large ‘70s style headstock for extra sustain, the instrument produces one of the most unique and identifiable tones in the Stratocaster range.

Manufactured in 2017, the back of the headstock is printed with the serial number, “17004816.” The headstock retains pieces of gaffer tape marked in black felt pen with an arrow and “Found.”

Edge took this guitar on the road with U2 during the period of 2017-19, and used it for performances of ""Bad"" and the beloved chart-topping single from The Joshua Tree, “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”

The guitar retains an adjustable leather strap with cross-shaped cutouts. The instrument is also featured in an as-of-yet unreleased concert film. A Fender hard shell case measuring 17”x41.25” and 4.5” deep is included, and exhibits minor surface wear. The guitar exhibits a few chips and nicks, scuffs, and scratches over all from use.
