(Warner Bros., 1981) An original record for a radio special titled The History of Superman. This special details the creation and development of Superman from his comic book days to Christopher Reeve's iconic portrayal of the character in Superman and Superman II. Among the incredible audio contained on this record is a portion where Marlon Brando warns Christopher Reeve not to do his own stunts as he may get hurt by a horse throwing him off, an accident which would famously later occur to Reeve. The record was created as a promotional tool for the release of Superman II, and is an exceptionally rare artifact from this beloved superhero film. Measuring 12.25"x12.25" in the sleeve, the record is in very good condition with minor wear from use, including some edge-wear to the sleeve.
