(Guild, 1954) Sir Barry Gibb’s personal 1954 Guild X-250 six-string electric guitar and its alligator skin case. One of the most successful songwriters of all time, Gibb has had 16 number-one hits in his career. This beautiful guitar, bearing the serial number 1584, was given by Barry Gibb to Jay Levy, who worked with the Bee Gees while at RSO Records. Measuring 42.5” x 4.5” x 18.5”, the guitar displays in very good condition with light scratches, scuffs, and wear from use, while the 46” x 5.5” x 19.2” Guild guitar case is in good condition with wear from use and discoloration from age.
