(Disneyland, 1963) An original typed and signed letter by Disney Legend and long-time Golden Horseshoe star, Wally Boag. In the letter, Boag apologizes for his late reply, almost a year after the fan's initial request. It is framed with a signed photograph of Boag. The 1-page letter is typed on official Disneyland letterhead stationery and dated July 21, 1963. Best known for his starring Pecos Bill/Traveling Salesman roles in Disneyland’s Golden Horseshoe Revue, the prolific stage comedian responds to a fan’s request for an autograph picture and signs in blue ballpoint pen, “Wally Boag.” Measuring approximately 11”x8.5”, the letter is in good condition, exhibiting some creasing to the lower right quadrant. The photo is approximately 8”x10” and also in good condition with similar creasing, likely from rough handling in transit from Boag to its original recipient.
