(Revell, 1994) A vintage Revell model kit of the Outlaw show car designed by legendary car customizer and visual artist, Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. This particular kit once belonged to Roth himself, and now comes from the personal collection of his son, Darryl Roth. As Ed Roth's first fabrication from fiberglass, the 1956 Outlaw was built on a 1929 Ford Model A frame fit with a 1925 Ford Model T crossmember powered by a 1950 Cadillac engine. This 1/25 scale model kit consists of white and chrome-colored plastic pieces, rubber wheels, and an unused decal sheet. The majority of the plastic and rubber elements are still connected to their plastic runners as issued, and the original instruction manual is included, though no warranty of completeness is given. The set is housed in its original paper box, which has been signed on the lid in black felt pen by Ed Roth and dated "'94". Measuring 6.5"x9.5" and 3.5" tall, the box is in very good condition, showing only minor wear. The model components are clean and as-new.
