(Disneyland, c.1963) An incredible collection of seven photos bearing WED Imagineering stamps and hand-written information on the back of each photo, used in the research and construction of the "It's a Small World" attraction for the 1964-65 World's Fair. The attraction would be refurbished and brought to Disneyland the following year. While the ride boats and design elements were created at the Disney Studio, the ride mechanisms as well as a full-scale ride through track were created by Arrow Development. This collection includes photos of the full-scale ride thru at Arrow Development, a photo print of concept artwork by Herb Ryman for the World's Fair exhibit hand-titled "Legend" with many additional notes, as well as research photos for the dolls used throughout the attraction. This incredible set of photos range in size from 8"x8" to 10"x8". This set is in very good condition with some expected wear from use, and a crease to the plastic cover of one of the photos.
