(Disney, 1990) An extremely rare Preliminary Master Plan Executive Report created by the Walt Disney Company for their never realized Port Disney Resort in Long Beach, California. The 21-page photocopied booklet provides an overview and provisional details for the ambitious project, which would have included the DisneySea theme park, five new resort hotels, a monorail, dinner boats, and a historical vessel harbor, among more. This report was shared in closed door meetings with Long Beach city officials and made public on July 31, 1990. Parts of the proposed theme park were repurposed for Tokyo DisnseySea, but this scarce packet provides a detailed overview of the incredible project that might have been. Measuring 11"x8.5", the packet is in very good condition with some creasing at upper left from fold-over reading.
