(Fisher-Price, 1936) A rare Pluto Pop-Up Kritter manufactured by Fisher-Price. Pop-Up Kritters were among the first 16 toys made and released by Fisher-Price in 1931, shortly after the company was founded. Five years later, Pluto was the first new Pop-Up Kritter added to the line. When the cords are pulled, the character "pops-up;" when released, it goes slack. The original instruction manual is attached to one of Pluto's strings. The figure measures 6.5"x5.5" and 1.75" deep. The paddle is 9.75" long. The piece is in very good condition and exhibits only some minor wear and soiling. The instruction manual has a corner crease and some browning from age.
