(Disneyland, c.1955-68) A pair of speakers from the "Wurlitzer Music Hall" on Main Street between 1955 and 1968. These speakers originally belonged to Don Beamsley, the Manager of the Wurlitzer store on Main Street. Given the unique labels on the back of one of the speakers, which include Beamsley's Disneyland business card and an instructional card for the Grado Lab "Jr." Loudspeaker system, it is uncertain if these speakers were used as part of the store speaker system, or if these were items originally sold within the store. Regardless, these speakers from one of first Main Street stores at Disneyland, and from the collection of the store Manager, have an incredible history and very seldom do such items surface. The speakers measure approximately 16"x16" and 10" deep, each. The condition appears to be fair, with wear throughout the wood frames and speaker covers from previous use. Functionality has not been tested.
