(Paramount, 1982) A pair of foam prop guns used in 48 Hours. The film is remembered as the original buddy cop film, and stars Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. One of the guns appears to be a Smith and Wesson Model 29, which is used by both Nick Nolte and James Remar in the film. The other appears to be a Colt New Service, which Eddie Murphy takes from another character. The guns come from the esteemed prop collection of Chris Kiszka. A letter of provenance from Kiszka will be provided to the winning bidder. Measuring approximately 8.5" long, the guns are in fair condition with paint chipping, general wear from use, and thin spots of cracking to the foam from age.
