(Disneyland/Walt Disney World, c.1975) An extremely rare one-of-a-kind original painting for a Mission to Mars poster. With the introduction of Mission to Mars in 1975, a new poster was required. Accomplished by an unknown artist, the concept artwork features elements adapted from Ken Chapman's earlier Flight to the Moon poster. This developmental artwork is particularly notable, as the Omnibus advertisement sign was the only in-Park poster artwork that was ever produced for the Tomorrowland attraction. The painting is on masonite, has an image size of 35.5"x53.5", and is mounted within a 38.5"x56.5" frame. The painting is in fine condition, with some slight paint chipping primarily to the corners of letters in "Tomorrowland," and an approximately 2" scratch across the H in "THE."
