(Disneyland, 1955-1959) A one-of-a-kind collection of Disneyland scores from the Walt Disney Productions Music Library, containing original printed piano and organ arrangements for Fantasyland attractions. A Studio folder labeled "3504-007 Carousel Music For Disneyland" holds scores to four medleys arranged for the King Arthur's Carrousel Organ adapted from Pinocchio, Dumbo, Snow White - and notably Ichabod and Mr. Toad, which appears to have been removed from the organ's playlist for decades now. A score for "You Can Fly" from Peter Pan is included, as well as a Conductor Lead Sheet for "Snow White Rides." Finally, the set includes two Cutting Record forms indicating tracks recorded at the Studio in July of 1955, just days before Disneyland opened. Conductor Ed Plumb with a 27-piece orchestra and 18-piece band recorded tracks for Snow White, Peter Pan, and "Toad Ride" as well as "Drums for Adventureland" and four tracks labeled "music school." Finally enclosed is a copy of a score sheet from the television episode "Gala Day at Disneyland." Measuring 8.5"x11" to 12"x14", these papers are in very good Studio-used condition, with expected creases, folds, yellowing, wear, and original annotation throughout some of the pages.
