(Jackson, 2009) An incredibly rare lenticular portrait of Michael Jackson tracing the evolution of the influential entertainer during his career. This artwork was created for Michael Jackson's planned "This is It" concert series at the O2 Arena in London. The concerts ultimately never took place, as Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009, just weeks before planned July 13, 2009 start of the concert series. However, this design was approved by Jackson himself for use as an item to be sold at the concerts. This lenticular portrait is among the seldom surviving artifacts from this significant moment in Michael Jackson history. Measuring 10”x8” within a 15”x13” frame, the lenticular is in fine condition with minimal wear.
