(Disney, 1934) An early portable animation drawing board that once belonged to Disney Legend Ken Anderson. These wooden boards were used by animators while working away from their desks, often during character studies and classes. Anderson, who started at the studio in 1934, wrote his name above the metal two-peg registration bar. Around the 1950s, animator Bill Weaver used the drawing board after Anderson. On the reverse of the board, Weaver etched the message"Bill Weaver - Hands Off." The 15"x15" varnished wood board is in good overall used condition, showing wear from use and age. An unusual early artifact of Disney Studio history.
