(Paramount, 1984) A metal 35mm film can used during production of the second installment of the Indiana Jones adventure franchise, Temple of Doom, from the collection of a former studio employee. The Eastman Kodak 35mm tin retains a paper label on the lid typed, "Indy II, 11/6/83, Roll: NR12...100T 5247, Rank Labs, Denham." This can was used to transport the freshly exposed Eastman 100T 5247 color camera negative (the film stock favored by Spielberg, Lucas, Kubrick, Coppola and Ridley Scott in this era) from set at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire to the Rank Film Labs for processing. Measuring 15" in diameter by 1.75" deep, the piece is in good condition with denting and oxidation over all from extensive production use.
