(Disney, 1980) A set of files of photo prints, transparencies, and negatives used by Harrison Ellenshaw during the production of "Tron." Ellenshaw was the visual effects supervisor as well as associate producer on the film. These files contain black and white prints of characters in costume, transparencies used in creating the Flynn "de-rezzing" sequence when he enters the computer world, twenty frames of Vista-Vision 70 mm film strips of the de-rezzing sequence with full effects, photos of the crew including Harrison's father Disney Legend Peter Ellenshaw visiting the production, prints of early hand-drawn storyboards, and 2.25" x 2.25" color transparencies that include crew on the set as well as Ellenshaw paintings for "The Black Hole." Finally, the lot includes a signed photo of Harrison Ellenshaw with the Tron arcade game on the set. The materials all come with their original file folders and envelopes that include hand notations by Ellenshaw. Measuring various sizes, the photos and transparencies are in very good condition with wear typical of production use.
