(c.1920s-50s) An incredible Bacon and Day Silver Bell four-string banjo model No. 4 which belonged to Disney Legend Harper Goff. The banjo is believed to have been created in the 1920s and was used by Goff during his time with the Firehouse Five Plus Two in the 1950s. The banjo features a highly stylized name plate on the back side with the name "H Goff" in gold-tone metal. The banjo comes in Goff's original case with a spare banjo head. Inside the storage compartment within the case are a few of Goff's accessories including a well-used pick, several Black Diamond brand replacement strings, a vial of what appears to be oil for the banjo head, and several tools used for replacing the strings. This incredible artifact from the career of Harper Goff measures approximately 36" long and is in good condition with some wear throughout from the many years of use by a true Disney Legend.
