(Disneyland, 1956) Professional wild animal trainer George Keller was hired by Disney to liven up the Mickey Mouse Club Circus with his trained jungle cats. When the Circus ended in 1956, Keller continued his act alone for a few months more at Disneyland in the former Mickey Mouse Club Circus tent. This dye transfer print of Keller with one of his large cats, is signed along the bottom and reads, "Best wishes to Jimmy Reynolds, one of my best friends in show business. Sincerely, George J. Keller, Disneyland 1956". Memorabilia of Keller's from Disneyland is exceptionally rare due to how short his time at the park was, and a piece signed by Keller to one of his dear friends is an amazing artifact from one of Disneyland's first performers. This piece comes matted and measures 17"x14" within its mat. In poor-fair condition, with a horizontal tear and crease mark across the center and some discoloration and staining throughout the mat. On the back, there is what appears to be child's writing in blue ink.
