(Disneyland, c.1955-1990s) An impressive archive of primarily unused Disneyland letterhead and correspondence relating to various Disneyland shops, personnel, milestone anniversaries, and events spanning the first 40 years of Park history. The archive also includes a few typed letters, including one composed by the Disneyland Publicity Manager on October 24, 1966, just a few weeks before Walt's death. In this particular letter, an interview request is declined, stating "Walt Disney will not be available for a tape recording now or in the foreseeable future." The unused Disneyland letterhead stationery also includes samples of the Disneyland Participant Taylor and Hume, the Disneyland Television Show, early Disneyland Park letterhead, the Mickey Mouse Club Disneyland Chapter Headquarters, the Disneyland Tencennial Celebration, Space Mountain, the New Fantasyland, the Disney Gallery, MAPO, Walt Disney Imagineering, and much more. Several matching envelopes, as well as a few additional ephemera items are included in the Lot. The archive contains more than 150 sheets of letterhead, with most measuring approximately 11"x8.5". The condition is very good overall with varying amounts of handling wear. This extensive letterhead archive represents a significant portion of Disneyland Park history and is exceptionally rare.
