(Disneyland, 1955) An incredible collection of (5) original concept drawings created by Imagineer Bruce Bushman. The artwork was created prior to Disneyland's opening and features detailed concept imagery for five of the park's attractions. These original drawings were trimmed and assembled as part of a memorable 2-page spread in the July 15, 1955 edition of the Los Angeles Examiner. They depict "Sleeping Beauty Castle", "King Arthur Carrousel", "Casey Jr.", "Dumbo the Flying Elephant", and the "Mad Tea Cups". Each individual drawing is accomplished in pencil on thin artist's paper and is trimmed for its use in the 1955 Los Angeles Examiner spread. The illustrations are custom matted within a 32"x40" mat to resemble the original newspaper spread. This extremely rare collection of drawings is in very good condition with some wear, including a few fold-marks and creases.
