(Disney, 1950s) An incredible collection of (26) demo and final acetates (known as scratch tracks) for a variety of Disney productions in the late 1950s. Included in the lot are: 13 acetates from the "Zorro" TV series, including instrumentals and vocals for several songs; (4) acetates from the Mickey Mouse Club Series including a recording of the Mickey Mouse "Roll Call" song; (2) instrumental cuts from "Donald and The Wheel;" and a song each from " The Story of Toby Tyler," "Swiss Family Robinson," and "The Absent -Minded Professor." (2) acetates feature tracks from the "Rainbow Road to Oz" in 1957's "The Fourth Anniversary Show," including Mouseketeer Doreen Tracey performing "Patches." (2) acetates feature composer Mel Leven himself performing "Wheels" from "Donald and the Wheel" and remarkably his unused "The March of the 101 Dalmatians." The acetates are in fair condition and playable.
