(Disneyland, 1954-1955) A conceptual suggestion for the entrance of a "Cyclorama" exhibit created by Herbert Ryman,
Disneyland. Herb's design for the entrance to the 360-degree attraction features a ticket booth flanked by "24 states" on each side, as well as fundamental shapes and forms recurrent in other contemporaneous suggestions for both Circarama USA and Space Station X-1. These elements were notably retained and realized when both opened as Disneyland attractions on July 17th, 1955. Measuring approximately 25.25"x12", the drawing mounted to artist's board displays in very good condition, exhibiting few creases and wear throughout from use, adhesive retention on reverse from prior original display, and some color toning and discoloration common from age, common to Disneyland artifacts of a similar vintage.
