(Disneyland, 2000s) An original sign from the Carnation Plaza Gardens. This popular food, dance, and music location opened in 1956 and was a staple for the park's earliest "Date-Nite" events. The Carnation Plaza Gardens hosted a plethora of musical legends including Ray Anthony, Count Basie, Tex Benecke, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, and many others. The location closed in 2012 to make way for the Fantasy Faire expansion of Fantasyland. This sign, measuring 19"x11", is printed on dense foam board and is in good condition with some surface wear from use. The reverse has a velcro tab from its original installation.
