(Roth, c.1990s) An original concept drawing for a Rat Fink t-shirt by legendary car customizer and visual artist Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. The artwork depicts Roth's most famous creation, Rat Fink, riding in a hotrod with Mrs. Fink. A word bubble says, "Forget the House...How Big is the Garage?" Roth's hand-written notes add that Rat Fink is holding a crescent ball peen hammer and that the car is a 34 Roadster. This design would be slightly altered for the t-shirt as released. Accomplished in black ink on art paper with 5"x3" visible through a 10"x8" black lacquered wood frame. The artwork presents in fine condition.
