(Disneyland, 1955) An extremely rare paper cup from The Chicken Plantation House at Disneyland. The paper cup advertised both Swift's Chicken Plantation House and Swift's Red Wagon Inn restaurants and was distributed at quick-service and table service restaurant locations in both Disneyland and Holidayland (both of which were managed by the Red Wagon Company). Further, the cup was manufactured by Dixie-Narco, a manufacturer of vending machines and food service paper products for Disneyland and Holidayland during the 1950s and 1960s. Cups of this sort were often disposed of, making this preserved piece a truly rare find. Measuring 3.75" tall and 2.75" in diameter, the paper cup is in fair to poor condition, missing its bottom, retaining spots of cardboard from scrapbook mounting, and yellowing creases, and wear from handling and age. The cup comes displayed in a bell jar display measuring 11" tall and 6.75" in diameter.
