(Disney, 1960s-72) A layout drawing of the new Cinderella Castle viewed from atop Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. The spire in the front foreground is the Violett-le-Duc spire, included in Disneyland’s Castle by Imagineers in reference to the spire atop Notre Dame Cathedral. This is likely a layout for a very early Magic Kingdom promotion for Walt Disney World before it opened, imagining the "new castle in the Magic Kingdoms." Measuring 12.5" x 15.5", the drawing is in good, production-used condition with discoloration, creasing, folds, paint spots, and adhesive from previous mounting.
