(Disney, 1970s) A memo from Disney Executive Vice President Card Walker to Disney employees, outlining the Company’s plans for Mineral King in the early 1970s. The six-page document explains Walt Disney’s original interest in the project and the Company’s progress to date, though it was ultimately abandoned. Attached is a photocopy of the 1968 American Heritage magazine article “Bringing Forth the Mouse” on Disney’s place in the American psyche. Measuring 8.5” x 11”, the memo is in very good condition with an oxidation mark to the front from the paper clip.
