(Disneyland, 1960s-1986) A Walt Disney Productions sign from the Dragon Calliope vehicle of Disneyland and The Magic Kingdom. The Dragon Calliope (pulled by a team of eight Percheron horses) was one of nine circus wagons that Walt originally purchased for Mickey Mouse Club Circus at Disneyland. It subsequently appeared in seasonal parades at the Park, the Walt Disney World Tencennial parade, and three editions of Circus Fantasy at Disneyland, before finally being preserved in Tri-Circle-D-Ranch at Fort Wilderness Resort at Walt Disney World. During the calliope's usage (from 1955 to the 1980s), the sign on its right side was changed reflecting various eras of ownership from The Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Productions, and the Walt Disney Company. This is the second incarnation of the sign, hand-crafted by Park Staff Shop artisans for the memorable vehicle. Measuring approxiametly17"x23.75" and .75" wide, the wooden, hand-painted sign displays in good condition, exhibiting scuffs, crazing, and wear to paint on the face, and stains and wear to back.
