(UNICEF, 1964) A May 28, 1964 memorandum from UNICEF’s C. Lloyd Bailey to Mary Blair. The memorandum, signed by Bailey, concerns the UNICEF pavilion that housed It’s a Small World at the 1964 World’s Fair. Blair was a major part of the attraction’s development and success, with her color scheme and distinctive style being replicated in Parks around the world. Measuring 8.5” x 11, the two-page memorandum displays in very good condition with light discoloration from age, creases, wear, and intentional folds from mailing.
