(Hasbro, 2019) A rare Star Wars The Vintage Collection Jabba’s Sail Barge (The Khetanna). Memorably featured at the beginning of “Star Wars: Episode IV - Return of the Jedi,” the barge marked the final resting place of Jabba the Hutt, as he was strangled to death by a famously gold bikini-clad Princess Leia. This exquisitely detailed 1:1 scale model barge was created by Hasbro via the crowdfunding platform HasLab and was released in a limited edition to backers only. Accessible interior and exterior decks, cloth sails, rotating cannons, a sliding prisoner’s cell door, and operational shutters in Jabba’s Lounge are just a few of the finely crafted details that make this hard-to-find collectible an immersive and impressive piece of Star Wars history. Included in the box are the barge, Jabba the Hutt and Yak Face figures, and a 64-page booklet titled “Jabba’s Sail Barge (The Khetanna): Behind the Workbench,” which chronicles the development of both the film’s barge scene and the toy itself. Assembly is required, though no additional tools are needed. The Khetanna is the largest Star Wars product that Hasbro made—ever. In its original box measuring 16” x 52” x 16”, the massive unopened barge is assumed in fine condition.
