(Paramount, 1991) A cue card used in the production of "Darmok," the second episode of the fifth season of"Star Trek: The Next Generation." Centering on Captain Picard and the Tamarians, whose language relies on a heavy use of metaphor, the episode is widely regarded among both the series’ and franchise’s all-time best. Due to the unusual cadence and dialogue of the Tamarian captain Dathon, guest star Paul Winfield relied on cue cards during filming scenes with Patrick Stewart’s Picard. Measuring 15" x 20", the piece is in very good overall condition, exhibiting few scuffs and some wear. A truly unique opportunity to own a piece of production-used material from one of TNG’s most memorable episodes.
