(Charlotte Clark, 1950s) An incredible set of four Cinderella Mice Dolls by Charlotte Clark. The dolls were part of Clark's personal collection and were given to relatives in the 1950s. Featured are Gus (green shirt), Jaq (red shirt), Perla (pink dress), and another male mouse (green vest). Jaq is 10" tall, Gus is 8" tall, Perla is 10" tall and the other boy mouse is 9" tall. The three main dolls have black oilcloth eyes while the boy mouse has felt eyes. All have black stitching accents and yarn hair. All retain a "Charlotte Clark Creation" tag attached at their feet. Each has a fair number of scattered holes due to insects. Gus has the most holes as well as a tear in the seam of his left arm. Perla is missing some fabric around her eyes. Although all have scattered defects. holes and tears, they still display in good condition overall. These are the only examples of these characters that we have seen by Charlotte Clark, and we are unaware of any other Cinderella themed dolls by her.
