(Disneyland, 1955) An amazing collection of concept art and notes between Herb Ryman and Gabriel Scognamillo exploring the early development of Tomorrowland. The collection includes three pages of sketches featuring the bold, mid-century futuristic and"Googie" designs that the original Tomorrowland became known for. Also included are three pages of notes on possible Tomorrowland exhibits and sponsors, such as a Parker Pens with a writing through history exhibit. The drawings are accomplished in graphite, colored pencil and ink on animation paper. Measuring 10" x 12", the drawings and notes are in good condition with creasing, edge wear, and discoloration.
