(Warner Brothers, 1962) A screen used marching band uniform from"The Music Man." The uniform can be seen during the film's finale as the band marches to the tune of"Seventy Six Trombones." The distinctive uniforms with gold braid, pink oval decorations, and gold buttons are worn by dozens of performers in the final number. The jacket and pants both have labels dating their manufacture to March of 1961, predating the film's production. The jacket is marked inside as size"6", and the pants as simply a size 28, with the length likely hemmed exactly to the actor who wore them. Both jacket and pants are in very good condition, with wear from age, and some color shift of white fabrics to off-white.
