(Disneyland, 1955) An original concept painting by Sam McKim for Disneyland's Frontierland. In 1954, McKim joined Disney, where he was tasked with designing the look and feel of Frontierland, creating concept artwork that included this southwestern, pueblo-style village. The painting, signed by McKim and accomplished in graphite and watercolor, came from the Walt Disney Imagineering Art Library and retains its original tag on the reverse. Measuring 12" x 22.25" visible in a 25" x 34.75" frame, the art is in fine condition. The frame is in very good condition with light edge wear and a few spots of color loss.
