(Crump, 1995) A print featuring a self-portrait of Disney Legend Rolly Crump surrounded by his concepts for the Museum of the Weird walk-through attraction. Rolly Crump began his career with Disney in 1952 working on “Peter Pan.” In 1959 he moved to WED Imagineering, where he worked on attractions including the Enchanted Tiki Room and It’s a Small World under the close leadership of Walt Disney. Though the Museum of the Weird project never came to fruition, several of Crump’s oddities made their way into The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. Crump sent prints like this in response to fan mail, with this exact print coming from his personal collection. Measuring 8.75” x 11.25” in a 9.75” x 12.25” frame, the print is in fine condition, with light scuffs and wear to the frame.
