(20th Century Fox, 1987) A very rare multi-layer production cel of Bart and Homer Simpson from the short "Bart and Dad Eat Dinner," which aired during Season 2 of "The Tracey Ullman Show." Created for the comedienne's sketch comedy show in 1987 by Klasky-Csupo Inc., The Simpsons proved so popular that they were spun off into their own series, which debuted in December 1989 and became the longest-running American animated series of all time. Production cels from the original Ullman Simpsons shorts are extremely hard to come by, and this is one of the few complete setups we have ever seen available. The cel maintains its original Klasky-Csupo Inc. sticker and has an image size of 9.5" x 12.5" on 10.5" x 12.5" cels. The piece is paired with an off-white paper background and displays in very good condition with scratches and wear from production use.
