(Disney, 1954) "Lady And The Tramp" has two different production numbers; #2079 for the "normal" theatrical version, and #2084 for the wide-screen CinemaScope version, both of which were photographed at the same time (an animation first!). This original studio animation draft, assembled during production and used at the studio for reference once the project was complete, details the specifics required for both versions of the film. Animation drafts detail each sequence and the scenes within, identifying lead animators, amounts of film footage, dialog, camera movement and other production specifics. The sequences of "Lady and The Tramp" are marked with index tabs, a guide to which is in the inside front of the draft's folder. This particular draft is marked as having been used at the Disney Studio's "background morgue", or animation background storage facility. There are a great many handwritten notes dated 1966 at which time an inventory of the films backgrounds looks to have occurred; many are marked as no longer present due to inclusion in exhibits both on the studio lot and overseas. The 134 8.5"x14" mimeographed and type-written pages are bound in a 9.5"x14.5" file folder. The folder is very ragged along the edges, and some of the pages have yellowed with age, but overall, the draft is in very good condition.
