(Schlesinger, 1942) An original production drawing of Porky Pig from the 1942 cartoon "Any Bonds Today,” directed by Bob Clampett. This unique short is not considered a Looney Tunes or Merrie Melodies cartoon, but was produced for the U. S. government reportedly free of charge to promote the sale of war bonds. With an image size of 3.5” x 2.5” on 9.5” x 12” animation paper, the production drawing accomplished in graphite and blue pencil displays in very good condition with spots of discoloration which do not affect the image.
